Janet Taylor Reilly, CRP, CDPE, CRP, Certified Short Sale Specialist and Pre-Foreclosure Coach has turned her passion for wealth building through home ownership into a highly successful 29 year career in Real Estate. She is an associate with Sotheby’s International Realty in Carmel, CA.
In 2009, troubled by the devastating foreclosure crisis, she was inspired to help distressed homeowners and founded Help 4 Monterey Homeowners (www.help4montereyhomeowners.com), whose Mission is To Help Monterey County Homeowners Avoid Foreclosure. She is co-author of the Book, Should I Short Sale My Home?
Reilly is a member of the Real Estate Network, Top 5 in Real Estate. Reilly is among the first real estate agents to be accepted into this elite organization.
Prior to her affiliation with Sotheby’s she was Team Leader of the Keller Williams Market Center in Carmel, CA where she continues to have an ownership interest. As launching Team Leader she directed its rapid growth. In the 4 years the Market Center was under her leadership the office won numerous awards including the Carmel Chamber Green Ribbon of Excellence and the Monterey County Weekly "Best Real Estate Office” and climbed to number 3 market share in Monterey County.
Beginning her real estate career in 1980 she quickly rose to Top Producer status with Merrill Lynch Realty in Hartford, CT. In her first year in the business she was the company’s Rookie of the Year and in 1982 gained recognition for closing the company’s largest deal.
Reilly spent a significant part of her career in the field of Corporate Relocation in Boston, MA. Recognized for her expertise in Corporate Marketing and other Relocation related business development programs, she has been honored with awards by Relo, Coldwell Banker Relocation Services, Relocation Resources International and Cendant Mobility Broker Network. She has served on numerous Advisory Boards and Councils. She holds the CRP designation and has been awarded ERC's Meritorious Service Award. "National Relocation and Real Estate Magazine" has three times named her one of the Top Women in Relocation and Real Estate.
She is the past Chair of the Carmel Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of Leadership Monterey Peninsula.
