Seaside
Seaside, California

Seaside is treasured by its residents for the large stretches of beach and great walking trail at Monterey State Beach. The Seaside beach is remarkable for its long, walk able stretches of sand and its beautiful dunes. Any sunny day will see legions of surfers, sun worshipers, sand castle makers and kite flyers happily enjoying this long stretch of beautiful coast line.
Any avid golfer will tell you that Bayonet and Black Horse are two 18 hole courses located at the former Fort Ord (and only available for military play until the city acquired the property in 1997), are among the most challenging courses on the Peninsula. Claiming to be the only courses of the Monterey Bay with views on 30 of 36 holes, they have played host to PGA Tour greats Nicklaus, Palmer and Watson.
